What are the Effects of Kratom?
Within seconds of ingesting Kratom you’ll feel an intense, surging warmth bubbling up inside you, from your toes right up to the tip of your nose. Confidence takes over your body as the inner you bursts from within like a leaping lion from the bushes!

Umm, not quite.

While the effects of Kratom can definitely be very pronounced and even life changing for some, for others they can actually be quite subtle. While it’s highly worth trying Kratom, don’t expect the World from it right away.

I think one of my problems when I first tried Kratom was that, even though I’d done prior research, I still had fairly high expectations, certainly physical expectations. As it’s turned out, I’d say I’ve since reached the original expectations I had but it certainly didn’t start that way. I remember being quite disheartened after my first few attempts, thinking to myself, “is this it?”.

Setting Realistic Expectations

When starting with a small dose and working your way up as recommended in my dosage guidelines, I want you to simply look out for the faintest and most subtle effects. Are you slightly more alert? Do you have slightly more positive thoughts? Or are you slightly more talkative? Do you feel ever so “tingly” inside?

Kratom is unlike more hardcore recreational drugs (not that I’d know!) that can noticeably “hit” you intensely. Sometimes you certainly feel Kratom taking effect physically ...

And that’s something worth pointing out. Kratom is great for productivity and motivation  you have to harness those qualities and give them a little direction. If you do that, it really is noticeably good for GSD (Getting Shit Done)! . 🙂

Kratom is also a “pro social” compound in that it can make you talkative and give you the desire to socialize. This was one of the reasons I first decided to give it a try because I figured it could be a good substitute for alcohol and generally make me more confident in social situations. The problem during my first experiments with Kratom, however, was that when I was taking it, I was at home, on my own. I wasn’t out and about. I think I expected to have these pro social feelings despite being cooped up on my own, working, that would be so strong that I’d have an overwhelming desire to leave the house and approach women!

Well, I find it doesn’t quite work like that. In that situation I’m not in contact with any people. However, when I am, thats when I feel the pro social benefits and that’s definitely a real thing.
